Design Update.
Over the past 3 years, a lot has been going on behind the scenes as we have moved through the rebuild preparation process. We’ve now reached the stage that we’re able to share these plans and give some insight into what will be happening on the ground at Paparoa Street School.
With this rebuild, we have taken the opportunity to redefine how the layout of our school can help contribute to, and strengthen the culture of our school.
The new layout clearly defines our kāinga and brings them together to focus on a central place , the rauika, our gathering place which represents the heart of our school, a place of shared ownership, where children and community can welcome, celebrate, demonstrate, display, congregate, commune, impact and inspire. Our redevelopment will support the realisation of our vision.
