Itinerant Learning Opportunities at Paparoa Street School.
At Paparoa Street School, we are extremely fortunate to have itinerant opportunities for children to participate in.
In support of these learning opportunities, where possible, the school provides a facility for individual tutors. The school has no other responsibility for this extracurricular activity. Enrolment in any programme, along with any financial arrangement, is only between the parent/caregiver and the private tutor.

Drama Time
DramaTime is a playful, creative and fun, extra curricular programme. It aims to build confidence and increase children’s dramatic skills. And, it runs during school hours!
It introduces the basic concepts of Drama and building performance. Participants will develop their creative thinking and problem solving skills and learn to work as a group to create theatre.
DRAMA DEVELOPS KIDS!
It builds critical interpersonal skills:
Communication – Stage performance requires multiple techniques in order to be clear, audible, and enjoyable to the audience. All of these skills translate into real-world applications
Empathy – Acting is understanding and becoming a person who is not you.
Collaboration – Theatre is the great collaborative art form. It requires all participants to work together as a team to produce the final product.
Problem-solving – Drama is challenging and engages the mind to think creatively, use abstract problem-solving, and to explore outside the box.
